Description
Planning orthodontic treatment includes precise determination of the desired position and angle of the incisors, ensuring optimal positioning of the roots within the socket in both the maxilla and the mandible. Furthermore, it aims to establish a harmonious relationship with the surrounding soft tissues and the overall facial profile. Next, effective management of skeletal anchorage and the use of predictable biomechanics strategies are necessary to achieve not only proper occlusion, but also optimal jaw function. However, have you considered the extent to which your therapeutic choices and the mechanics used in orthodontic procedures have an impact, either positive or negative, on the final result of a patient’s smile and the condition of their soft tissues? What biomechanics strategies achieve a predictable occlusal outcome? And how can an orthodontist deal with dysfunctional problems occurring before, during and after orthodontic treatment? This evidence-based course has been carefully designed and prepared to guide participants through a systematic journey, starting with treatment planning and extending to the management of skeletal anchorage, covering both conventional and skeletal approaches. The course includes treatment sequences tailored to achieve results that take into account both aesthetic and functional dimensions.
