A graduate of dental studies at the Silesian Medical University in Katowice, which she completed in 1993. She obtained her first degree of specialization in general dentistry in 1996, and her second degree in 1999. In 2009, she obtained her doctorate in medical sciences from the Medical University of Poznań. Since 1999, he has been giving lectures on orthodontics at the Postgraduate Study of Orthologopedics at the University of Silesia in Katowice. He is a member of orthodontic associations: Section of Maxillofacial Orthopedics PTS, PTO, WFO and AAO. Since 2009, he has been giving presentations and lectures, as well as publishing scientific articles. His main scientific interests focus on non-surgical orthopedic treatment of skeletal defects, skeletal maturity and its impact on treatment results, and the use of rapid jaw expansion in maxillo-orthopedic treatment of children, adolescents and adults.

Her PhD thesis, published jointly with Tiziano Baccetti, initiated growth spurt research around the world and received over 90 citations in human development publications.
