FAS Kids Aligners – An Innovative Approach to Early Orthodontic Treatment in Children

The FAS Kids Aligners system represents an innovative concept of early orthodontic treatment for children aged 5–12, based on the philosophy of preventing the development of severe malocclusions by restoring functional balance within the oral cavity. The lecture will cover patient qualification principles, the most common indications (including crossbites, Class II and III malocclusions, and arch constrictions), as well as the key differences between FAS Kids and other pediatric aligner systems. Participants will also learn about practical clinical applications and essential aspects of treatment planning in the mixed dentition phase.

Modern Orthodontic Treatment with FAS Aligners in Teenagers and Adults – Diagnostics, Planning, and System Advantages

The FAS Aligners system integrates advanced digital diagnostics with the philosophy of vertical dimension control (Arc of Closure), enabling treatment planning along a stable axis of rotation and in an ideal occlusal relationship. This approach ensures treatment that is not only precise but also predictable, safe, and biomechanically efficient—each planning stage is fully supervised by the orthodontist, and tooth movements exhibit high expression while maintaining complete tissue safety. The lecture will present the full workflow—from diagnostics (3D scans, CBCT, bite registration) to planning in the FAS portal—and discuss the system’s key advantages: occlusal stability, functional control, and minimal need for refinements.

FAS Aligners in Complex Clinical Cases – Limitations of Aligner Therapy and Hybrid Solutions

This lecture will focus on the use of FAS Aligners in complex orthodontic cases, where conventional aligner therapy reaches its limits. It will discuss the main challenges in treating patients with significant rotations, extrusions, impacted teeth, or skeletal discrepancies, as well as safe and predictable strategies to overcome them. Special attention will be given to the concept of hybrid treatment – combining FAS aligners with auxiliary appliances such as sliders, hybrid Hyrax expanders, microimplants, or intermaxillary elastics, which extend the possibilities of the system and enhance the expression of planned tooth movements. The lecture will be complemented by numerous clinical examples demonstrating how FAS Aligners therapy can achieve aesthetic and stable outcomes even in high-difficulty cases.
